Review the LinkedIn source before counting an email
A LinkedIn profile, an email address, and a qualified sales prospect are three different things. Use the source link and export fields to review each result before adding it to a campaign.
Use the input that matches your task
- Open the LinkedIn dashboard and choose an available mode. Account modes take an account or profile; post modes take a public LinkedIn post URL; hashtag mode takes a topic.
- For a known set of profiles, use the custom account list when your plan allows it. Begin with a small set you can manually review rather than assuming complete coverage.
- Set a practical email limit and review the returned profile URLs. The CSV does not include dedicated job-title or company columns, and an empty email is not filled with a guessed address.

Check these limits before using a list
- A profile without a published email may produce no address. An email limit is a stopping target, not a promise that every run will reach it.
- Public availability does not establish permission to contact someone. Review relevance, your suppression list, and the requirements for your campaign before sending.
- Review the source and job status. Imported or demonstration records do not prove a fresh platform fetch; availability and result coverage vary.
